2021 GMC Terrain Named a Best Car for Camping
Whether you’re just heading out from Edinburg, Texas, for a trip to the Gulf Coast or up to Big Bend or you’re heading out on a longer road trip to the likes of Yellowstone, the Olympics, Acadia, Yosemite, or even the Everglades, the 2021 GMC Terrain is the vehicle you will want for your family’s camping experience.
But don’t take our word for it! U.S. News & World Report just named the 2021 GMC Terrain one of the best cars for camping in 2021.
What makes the 2021 Terrain so great for camping? Here are a few things the editors noted about the SUV:
- The interior space. Thanks to the fold-flat front passenger seat, you can make plenty of room for all your gear, whether that’s a surfboard, camping chairs, or even a cooler full of beverages. But that’s not all; the Terrain has plenty of great storage space throughout the cabin.
- The infotainment system. With easy smartphone integration, you’ll have access to navigation to get you to your destination, plus all the road trip songs you need to enjoy the ride.
- Towing capacity. While not called out by U.S. News & World Report, we thought it was worth noting that the small GMC Terrain SUV can tow up to 1,500 pounds when properly equipped. This is great for hauling a small trailer with bikes or kayaks.
